Hi,
Thanks for the detailed message.
Whenever the datepicker calendar of jQuery UI (which ships by default with the WordPress core framework) does not allow to select any dates, this is because of a conflict with some third party plugins installed on your website.
Thanks to the link to the page you need help with, we were able to read the source code to find out that the plugin “contact-form-7-datepicker” is actually interfering with Vik Booking by loading a JS library to render a “time picker”.
Such plugins should not load their CSS/JS assets on all pages of your website when their contents are not sent to output, because this is a huge waste of resources, and they do cause conflicts with other plugins. The page you need help with is not showing any contact form generated by that plugin, and so they should not be loading any CSS or JS assets, as that’s useless and wrong. On top of that, they are overriding the configuration of any jQuery UI Datepicker instance, and so that plugin would simply disturb any other datepicker calendar.
Our suggestion is to disable it, or to get in touch with their developers to see if it can be set up in a way to not harm third party plugins or to load their assets on any single page of the front-end website. Vik Booking doesn’t do that, we only load the required CSS/JS assets on the pages displayed by Vik Booking (Shortcodes or widgets).
Also, just for your information, we probably speak the same language, and so you are free to get in touch with our team also through our website should you have any questions.
Best regards,
The VikWP Team
Oh yeah i missed that plugin and just realised it is not updated anymore.
Disabling it resolved the issue and everything works fine now!
Thank again for your time and the great support you provide here.
“Un caro saluto!”
