Well, that’s very weird. I’ll probably need a lot of detail for this – I don’t have any other similar reports, and I’ve never observed this myself. Can you provide as much detail as possible regarding the process & events this is happening with?
Thank you for your quick reply, Joe. Here are details of incidents:
Incident 1: We updated the event pages for 9/12 and 9/19 events by adding text and images (through My Calendar > Manage Events). After this update, our 9/5 event to randomly jump up one month to 10/5. Link to 9/5 event page: http://strivesanmateo.org/calendar/?mc_id=56
Incident 2: We recently updated the even page for our 10/30 event with text and photos (through My Calendar > Manage Events).. After this update, the date of this same event mysteriously changed from the original date of 10/30 to 11/30. Link to 10/30 event page: http://strivesanmateo.org/calendar/?mc_id=77
Seems like these updates caused events to jump up one month.
I attempted to replicate this issue today by updating an older event we have with text and images, checking each time with text content, then with image content, and with deleting the new content to see if it caused change in that event or elsewhere, and nothing happened. So I’m just as confused.
Let me know if you need any more details. Any help would be appreciated.
I have had reports about events changing date unexpectedly when edited. Events *other* than the one currently being edited is not something I’ve heard of, and have absolutely no idea how that could happen.
The situation that triggers the date change is hard to pin down, however, and I’ve never been able to consistently reproduce it, either. I am aware of it, and have seen it – but not consistently. I expect it’s a problem with the date picker, which is on my list of items to replace in the next major update.
Thank you, Joe! We will look out for an update when it’s ready.
