    Hello,

I searched for this topic on the forum but could not find an answer.

when I create posts in the PublishPress Calendar and then navigate away from it, when I return, the dates have randomly changed. Usually, all the posts are pushed a day behind from when I had scheduled them (so the first post goes one day before and then all the other posts follow). If I re-position them again, the next time I navigate away and back they stay in place.

To make it a little more clear:

Say I scheduled posts for January 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th. When I navigate away from the calendar and then return, they’re now scheduled for the 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. If I reposition them and navigate away again, when I return, they’re still where I repositioned them.

Is there any way to stop the dates from moving when I don’t want them to?

Hopefully this makes sense; thanks for any help.

    Mariana

    hi @marianamcdougall

This definitely isn’t normal behavior for PublishPress.

This may be possible mismatch in time zones. I wonder if your site and your server are using different timezones, perhaps.

Does it help if you set the publishing time to 8 am or later?

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick response!

This is happening when I create the posts directly on the calendar, so I have not set publishing times for them, just the date. I usually create them as pitches.I like to create several posts in the calendar ahead of time and then go in and edit the actual posts later.

The website is http://www.marianamcdougall.com, if it matters.

    Thank you!

    Hi @marianamcdougall,

Thanks for the information. We understand you are not setting a time, but due the date type used for the post date column, if no time is set, it is always 00:00. So if your site and server/DB timezones don’t match you will see this behavior.

For example, if your site is on a timezone with offset of -2 hours, you create a post for 25th (it automatically set time as 00:00), that date -2 hours will be 24th 10pm.

Please, could you double check if the site, database and server are all using the same timezone?
