DB Connection Error after Posting

    I am running WP 3.0.1 with WP-SuperCache on Media Temple’s GS service posting with MarsEdit. Whenever I post to the site I cannot access it for 10-15 seconds, instead I get the message:

    “error establishing database connection”

    After 10-15 seconds the message is all gone and nothing is out of sorts.

    This has not been a problem in the past, but now that I am getting a lot more visitors they are starting to notice, and contact me about it.

    Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
