db update for 2.x issues

    After updating from version 1.x to 2.1.1, I get the prompt

    We need to convert your bbpnns v1.x data into the v2.x format.

    I click on the “Run Update” button, but it seems nothing actually happens with the conversion as this message is still continually visible on my wp admin pages. I see the call to ajax in Chrome Dev Tools “bbpnns_update_db” — and don’t see any errors and it’s a 200 response.

    Is there a way to run this manually…say with wp-cli?

    Hi @johnmontfx,

    Thanks for reaching out. Can you look at the response of the XHR request triggered when you click the Run Update button?

    I had another client with the same problem and the issue is that the old topic or notify recipients entries had an empty value in the database instead of an empty array.

    I’m working on a fix and will have it out later tonight. The XHR response should provide some clue as to what is wrong.

    Version 2.1.2 is available and covers the error I mentioned above. Please try it out and let me know how it goes.
