DB-User: Missing Privileges

    Hey,

    Please give feedback for my understanding.

    When I use the current Duplicator version, I always get the warning that my DB user is missing privileges. More precisely at – Functions: (create & alter). “All Privileges” were assigned to the user in the CPanel.

    When I use the old Duplicator version I get the information that the user has the correct privileges.

    My question now is:

    What are the exact requirements for the new version:

    – System (PHP and MySQL)?
    – Or are extended database permissions actually required, which I can no longer set via the CPanel interface.

    Thx for feedback.

    Systemrequirement is fulfilled.

    The problem appaers during the installation.

    Warning:

    “The user [db-user-name] is missing privileges on the database [db-name] You can continue with the installation but some features may not be restored correctly.”

    And concerning of the installed plugins the WordPressinstallation will work or not 😉 :/

    These privileges can bet set/ are set with CPanel:

    ALTER, CREATE, CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES, DELETE, INDEX, LOCK TABLES, SELECT, TRIGGER, ALTER ROUTINE, CREATE ROUTINE, CREATE VIEW, DROP, EXECUTE, INSERT, REFERENCES, SHOW VIEW, UPDATE

    In one case I got the following error message in the log file:

    Hi @nm4609 ,

    Please try the below to fix your issue:

    This is a weird issue as you’ve mentioned that you’ve granted all the privileges to the database user over the database.

    Could you please try to delete the database and create another one?

    You also could try the below:
    In the first step of the installer, enable the option: Remove security DEFINER declarations in the Options section, under the Database tab as the below screen shows:
