Read it, maybe You found what You need.
Best Regards,
hello,
in the link you posted is just an explanaition of how to add profile and cover images. I know how to add them but I want to deactivate that option for users like I wrote above…
thanks though. if anyone can help who knows how to do this please let me know. thanks in advance!
Hi Karlman…
again me 😉
Here on of the ways to block users for uploading profile or cover image.
Go on plugin Generar Settings (http://yourpage.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pm_settings)
then click on Uploads (http://yourpage.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pm_upload_settings) and for all value put 0 (zero) and save!
This will prevent users from uploading cover or profile pictures in their profiles.
@bosnaml
hey, thank you so much for taking your time again! and compliments for being able to think outside the box, unlike me… 😉
your solution for this is really great and simple.. shame on me I didnt find out myself, its so obvious 😉
P.S. there is another thing I dont understand about the plugin. when I hover over “Howdy, username” to manage my account and click on my name it directs to “Edit Profile” instead of “My Profile”.
When I click on my user name or avatar I actually want the website to always direct to view My Profile area.

Do you also know how to fix that? because I couldnt really find an option for this…
If not np.. I wish you a nice weekend and thanks for everything.

Hello Karlmann,
Thank you for the positive feedback.
Profile Image and Cover Image are two of the most essential components of ProfileGrid User Profiles. Hence, we do not provide any option to deactivate them as of now.
Do let us know if you have any other questions.

if you know how to fix that, would be nice…
Hello Karlmann,
The “Howdy, username” section is part of WordPress core. Hence, we can’t really redirect its links to the my profile area.
