As per title. I’ve deactivated the plugin and deleted my site from adsense, now instead of ads I’ve got two giant blank spaces under the header and under the first block of posts…

    Any help would be appreciated

I’ve restored a backup from before I’ve deactivated the plugin, yet the huge spaces are still there. I’ve removed all the ads (eg I have zeroed all the plugins’ blocks) and now I don’t see any ad anymore – yet I keep on having these spaces…any help please

    Hello,

when you deactivate the plugin it can’t insert anything. If the plugin is activated we can check the inserted blocks, however, remote debugging doesn’t seem to be enabled:

I’m quite sure that problem is caused by an ad because it happened yesterday when I try to kill adsense. The strange thing is that if I restore backups, that space remains.

Anyways, I should have enabled remote debugging.

I tried switching to a different theme, but the problem remains, thus I think it’s definitely one of the ads that went out of control. When yesterday I tried to remove adsense and deactivate your plugin, for some reasons an ad appeared in that area. And now, anything I’ll do can’t remove those blank spaces. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Ad Inserter doesn’t insert any block – all the blocks are disabled.

Can you try to disable all plugins that might modify (“optimize”) JavaScript code?

And please attach a screenshot with marked that blank space.

I will try to disable the plugins and report back. In the meantime, look at the screenshot, just under the banner

Ok I deactivated Asset cleanup and WPoptimize – those were the two optimization plugins I had – no changes whatsoever.

I can’t reproduce it. In my browser there is nothing between the logo and the menu bar.
