Hi, thank you for this easy to use plugin!

It was working great, until I deactivated all plugins for troubleshooting and when I reactivated Popup Maker, all settings were gone. It showed a splash page for creating a first popup. All stats, settings are nowhere to be found.

    • The only thing check in settings is Disable categories & tags?
    • Delete all Popup Maker data on deactivation is unchecked.

Is there anyway to recover the lost data?

    Hi @codings

We’re sorry to hear your popup settings got deleted.

As you may know, Popup Maker has a setting that deletes all data when the plugin is deactivated.

Do you know if this option was enabled before deactivation of Popup Maker?

If it was, all Popup Maker data, including settings, has been removed from your database. 😔

If you’re sure it was not enabled, please submit a support ticket with all relevant details using our Support Request – Popup Maker form so we can investigate.

The only way to get your popups back is if you do regular backups of your site. You can restore a backup temporarily on a local temp site and export your popups from that backup.

You can then import it using WordPress’ importer in Tools Import WordPress.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have more questions.
