Hi @owernet513,
When the plugin is deactivated and deleted from the site, a script that deletes all the iTSec tables and contents will run. Could you please try deactivating all plugins and re-activating them one at a time to rule out any possibility of plugin conflict?
Hello,
I tried it and it didn’t work. I also reinstalled the plugin and removed all notifications, deleted it again and still the same.Could I deactivate it with a hook?
Thanks π
It seems that there are still iTSec-related tables on your database. Can you please confirm that all iTSec tables are completely removed from your database? Otherwise, do you have a staging environment of your site with the same issue?
You can also try adding this code snippet:
define('ITSEC_DISABLE_MODULES', true);to your wp-config.php file to disable all iTSec features on your site – https://help.ithemes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021124173-How-Do-I-Disable-All-Features-If-I-Can-t-Access-My-Site-I hope the above helps!

Thanks for your message.
I have not found any table in the DB
https://www.evernote.com/l/AnOzpL6e6pREW5qy2uUoN880u2d2tL-5hJoI don’t have any development environment.
Do you want me to create one for you?I’ve put the code in the wp-config. If it doesn’t work I’ll let you know.
Thank you very much for your help.
Hello again,
I’m still having problems with that configuration …
I modified the wp-config file by adding
define(‘ITSEC_DISABLE_MODULES’, true); But I still continue to receive notifications.
What do you think it could be?
That is indeed strange. Would you mind sending a screenshot of the most recent security notifications?
Removing the plugin and ensuring no related tables are left in the DB should do the trick. Have you tried deactivating ALL your site’s plugins and switching to a default theme, and see if you are still getting security notifications?
Hi,

Yes, it is strange.
I’ve deleted cache’s, deactivated and activated plugins, modified DB, WP-config file and I don’t know what to do anymore…One possibility is that you might have overlooked an initial setup (test/staging) before.
From what I know, the plugin is the one sending the email, so there might be another instance somewhere where the site is running, as mentioned above. Could you check if the site was previously set up in an old hosting account? If so, you might not have deleted some files there.
Also, on your most recent site scan email, can you check from what site is the email coming from? You can do so by clicking the dropdown arrow in the header/subject when using Gmail.
@shanedelierrr I hope you donβt mind me joining this topic π
These emails look like scheduled site scan reports (only), reporting a software vulnerability on your site.
What exact vulnerability is being reported in these emails?
Was/is it not a false positive?
If not, have you ever taken any action to resolve the reported software vulnerability? If so, what did you do ? (Update WordPress, plugin or theme?).
Once the vulnerability is taken care of, subsequent iTSec malware scans will no longer detect the vulnerability and when the site scan result is clean no email is being send.
Hi @owernet513, I hope the information provided helped resolve the issue. Since we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this post resolved. If you still need some assistance, feel free to open a new support topic, and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
