Hi @skyd569,
The issue is really strange.
After getting the 500 error, did you get any error message? If yes, can you please share the error message? and also may I know which theme is you’re using for non-amp version?
Please let us know.
Thank you
And also did you make any changes or add the code in the Theme folder’s functions.php file related with the AMP?
I don’t recall ever editing functions.php. My site has two wordpress themes installed:
On the domain “domain.com” I have a theme called AccessPress Lite. That domain and all of its subdirectories are all unaffected by me deactivating your plugin on the other theme (your plugin is not in the AccessPress Lite theme) used in a specific subdirectory:
The theme in the subdirectory “domain.com/subdirectory1” is GeneratePress. This is the one that breaks the non-amp pages when I deactivate the plugin. I get a strange message when I re-activate your plugin: “I’m Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” But If I try to do it again it works just fine.
Hi @skyd569,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Regarding this error message, “I’m Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”, We’ve created a GitHub ticket and it’s already resolved. We decided to add this ticket in the next update which will be releasing on next week.
Here you can track the ticket: https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/2377
Hope it helps.
