Ratty,
It will take time to remove the indexed pages in google. Once you deactivated the plugin, google will remove your amp pages one by one. So be patience.
Hi Ratty1702,
With regards to your query, I’d like to inform you that it takes some time for Google to remove AMP from the Website, once Google crawls the WebPages it’ll be removed from the Web pages.
It’s sad to see you de-activating our Plug-in, could you tell me the issue you’re facing with so that I can help you with that.
Hello @ampforwp
I was using another plugin as mentioned in my first post (this one), but when I used that collapse/expand plugin, for the AMP pages the menu’s stayed open constantly and the button was greyed out.
This didn’t happen for the pages that were not AMP, hence I had to deactivate 🙁
It’s a shame, because I like the idea of AMP pages… if you could help to fix, I will activate again for sure…
Thanks
Hey Ratty1702,
You are welcome.
Currently, we don’t have the Compatibility with the Plugin which you’re using now.
Could you send me your website’s Link so that I can test at my end to check what exactly is the issue?
Hello @ampforwp
I don’t think it’s worth sending you the link for my site because I have deactivated the AMP plugin…
Or can you test although it’s deactivated?
Thanks
Hi Ratty1702,
You are welcome.
I’d like to inform you that it should be activated if I need to test it at my end.
