I am using WC 2.3.6 on WP 4.1.1. After I installed the Table Rate Shipping, we changed shipping policy, so the default shipping setting would just worked fine. After I disable Table Rate Shipping, deactivate it, and applied default Flat rate and Free shipping came with WC, shipping was no longer working at cart and check out. It displayed the message of “There are no shipping methods available. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”

Maybe Table Rate Shipping was not completely being disabled or deactivated. How do I get the default shipping setting works?

In addition, there was minor bug on shopping summary when I had Table Rate Shipping enabled. For free shipping, nothing showed up next to Title.

    Thanks!

    Hi tyidnet,

Once the plugin has been deactivated and deleted on the Plugins page, it is impossible for the plugin to interfere with other shipping methods. Table Rate Shipping does not modify any other files.

It could be that WooCommerce is cacheing shipping rates. This can be temporarily disabled by enabling the shipping debug setting on the WooCommerce > System Status > Tools page.

Tried but still not work. Enabled shipping debug, deactivated plugin and have Flat Rate as default. Shipping section in cart still showing “There are no shipping methods available”

Anything else I need to check?

    thanks!

    Hi Mangohour,

Can’t figure it out so I added plugin back. At least shipping option works.

I have Table rate setting as free shipping over $75. In post purchase Order Details page (checkout/order-received), for order over %74, title “Shipping Fee” is display without “free” or “0.0” next to it. How can I get “free” or “0.0” shows up?

    thanks!

    Hi tyidnet,

I am glad you have found a solution.

The display of costs is not controlled by shipping plugins, shipping plugins simply supply the raw values to WooCommerce.

I recommend that you have a look at your theme files to see if they are omitting this information. Especially compare it to the cart page theme, if that page is displaying shipping costs correctly.
