Dead links

    Would somebody please explain to me why my links, as coded below, won’t work when clicked? I’ve included the code below. I’ve talked to teachers at my school, searched online tutorials, and asked industry professionals. I have been able to at times make the links work through minor changes that made my css stylings go away, but that is the closest I’ve been able to come. This is irritating as all hell, because aside from this little thing, my work on this project was done months ago! php code is below, styles are beneath that just in case something is wrong there. Please help. Show me that WordPress is still a platform I want to use.

    I should add, when I pasted in this code, the pages it pointed to disappeared fro the code. Rest assured, the actual links point somewhere. the cursor just remains an arrow and nothing happens when I click on them.

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
