    Is it please possible to set the user submitted post to be submitted with the category of the active page/post? Or the current category to be filled in as the default category of the user submitted post?

    It is not a current feature of the plugin, but a developer could achieve the first case you describe using the custom USP form. For example, in the custom form, the category field value could be replaced with the current category.
