• Hi,

before I start with my actual problem I wanted to thank you for the great work you did with this Plugin. Works great and as expected.

Well what I want to know is whether there is a option to enable expiration for posts by default. It is possible to set the default amount of time a post should be expired (e.g. 3 Month after posting) but it is not possible to enablethe “active post expirence” option per default if a new post is created.

Therefore everytime when I create a new post I have to remind myself to tick this option in order to get the expected behavoir.

Is there a nice way to enable the “active post expirence” option per default?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

If you go to “Post Expirator Options page” there are a couple of tabs.
In “General Settings” scroll down to “Default Date/Time Duration:”.
Change this select box to “Custom”. Fill the box below with “+3 month” or whatever you want and hit “Save changes” on the bottom of the page.

Now go to the next tab “Defaults” where you will find all your post types.
You can change the settings for each individual post type. Change the expiration type if needed (e.g. Trash or Delete) and change “Auto-Enable” to “Enabled”.
Your posts will automatically expire after 3 months.

    Hope it helps!
