Not currently. We’ll keep this in mind for possible inclusion in future iterations though. Thanks for using BuddyDrive!
Thank you very much for the answer!
Now I would like to ask you something much much more important… Is there any way to see in a public page all the files uploaded publicly to BuddyPress? That would be awesome because it would be like a library itself.
Thanks (and I hope it´s possible 🙂
There is.In the BuddyDrive settings you can set which page this is. However, some users are currently experiencing a bug that prevents files from showing on this page. A fix is currently in development for this bug and will be released soon. Thanks for using BuddyDrive.
Thanks @mrpritchett!
The problem is that I don´t see that option on my settings, don´t know if i´m doing something wrong. I have deactivated all the plugins and it´s not a configuration problem.
Or maybe I didn´t explain myself. What I want is to create a page, let´s say “/files-on-my-site” so when I access to “mysite.com/files-on-my-site” i can see every document uploaded by no matter which user as it is seen in the BuddyDrive items page.
Thanks a lot again!
That is possible for PUBLIC files only. You can which page that appears on by going to Settings->BuddyPress and then the Pages tab.
All right, so I have that very same problem of the other users. I have everything well set and my files are public but nothing show on my page.
Do you know when that fix will be released?
Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline nor do we set release dates publicly, as this leads to broken promises in our experience. However, we are working hard on a fix to this complicated issue and know that many of our customers are waiting on a fix. I’d go so far as to say that this is our top priority right now.
