HELLO and thanks for the plugin!

I have a site with NO featured images.

I am using the Schema & Structured Data For WP plugin.

I have a constant message: “You have not setup default image in Schema & Structured Data For WP.”

I have clicked DISMISS many times, but the message keeps coming back.

How do I eliminate that message?

PS: In the message, “setup” should be two words: “You have not set up default image in Schema & Structured Data For WP.”

You can eliminate it by actually setting up the default featured image.

From Global > Default Data: See: https://monosnap.com/file/rvYJ9dFF8tr9pouOi2hDhRYEW6uvKj

That should automatically eliminate the notice for you.

Actually, that data is required in structured data that’s why it’s asking you again and again.

Neal, Actually we are not setting a featured images on the posts, instead it’s just an fallback alternative image that we are providing to the search engines to validate the structured data.

Just upload a fallback image here on this field: https://monosnap.com/file/GpZn2DjxnTAZ1Z2TSn11nhwpzj0hjt – and that should solve it for you.

you don’t have to add the featured image, you can just add the placeholder image, that’s it.
