Default photo settings

After the last update, the photo settings are screwed again.
The photo is set by default as 300 px aligned to left. No link, no option.
You have to edit each post to set the damn image right.

There is no option to set default values somewhere? Like default size 600 px, default position – centered, default lik – to media file. Se the damn photo as featured image by default?
