Default Settings for the Table

    Hi there.

    I have a question. Is there a way to set defaults for the features of the data tables? I had to import some table and it would be nice, if they all have the similar settings.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    To change the default settings for all new tables, you’d have to use a bit of programming code and adjust a filter hook. I’m not sure that this is worth the effort.

    A quicker way might therefore be to create a new table (basically as a template), where you adjust all settings to your liking. Then, instead of directly adding or importing a new table, you could first copy/duplicate the template table. Then, during the import, just choose to replace the just created copy of the template table. This will then only replace the data, but keep the settings.
