Default shipping method

    We have 2 shipping methods in our shop – flat rate and free local pickup.
    For new customers, the flat rate is preselected, so far so good. If a customer has once selected the local pickup, this will further on be preselected. So if next time he wants to have the items delivered to his address, he will very likely overlook and order without shipping cost. I suppose this is a cookie issue. But maybe someone has a solution. It would be enough to have the flat rate preselected for each customer, both new and recurring.

    Hello,

    You can apply this code to preselect Flat Rate for both new and recurring customers.

    I would recommend using a plugin like Code Snippets to add the snippet to your site.
