Hello @jeffreydujeux , thanks for reaching out
Could you please also check that the “Order by” setting is set to default and not another option, since it overrides the position defined with the drag&drop method?
Keep us posted please!
Thanks for the answer.
Yes, the “Order by” setting is set to default as you can (barely, I must admit) see in the third screenshot.

I also did set it to default when inserting my gallery in my page.
But I have noticed, that when I set the “Number of image columns” to 2 or 5, that the problem disappear.
It still is there as 3 or 4, and unfortunately, I really don’t like the 2 or 5 display.

Hi @jeffreydujeux, thank you for the details,
Checked your screenshot and setup most thoroughly and could find no fault in how you configured the Gallery settings.
Could you please try testing for a possible theme or plugin conflict? You can do this using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. It allows you to temporarily disable themes and plugins only for your logged-in session, without affecting what site visitors see. This way, you can safely check whether the Photo Gallery plugin works properly with the default theme and no other plugins enabled.
Please let me know how it goes, I’ll be glad to assist further!
Thank you for the answer.
Well I have tried the troubleshooting mode, with activating only the Photo Gallery addon, and still, it appears in the wrong order.

I have also noticed that when I resize the window narrower, and thus, the gallery shows 2 columns instead of 3, that it will show the images in the right order.
