Hi, when creating input fields for names (to integrate into a mailchimp newsletter), the input fields show default values: “John”, “Doe”, … How can I change these default values?

    Thx…

    Hi @doubble07

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

Those values are “placeholders” – they won’t be submitted and they are only to help user understand what kind of input given field should contain.

You can edit them though. To do that, edit your popup/slide-in/embed and go to “Emails” section. You’ll see the list of fields there and a little gray “gear” icon next to each. Click on that icon and select “Edit Field” option.

A settings popup will show and there’ll be a “Placeholder (optional)” option where you can set your own placeholders for the field. You can do it for each of the fields used there.

    Best regards,
    Adam
