    Hi Phil,

Thanks so much for your help adding the max-size and allowed file labels earlier! I’m wondering if you might be able to help with another feature. We have a need for an anonymous form in which the name and email fields would either be populated with default values or maybe the just don’t show at all in the form.

Would you be able to add a shortcode along the lines of anonymous=true that would remove the name and email fields? Alternatively, something like being able to set the value for the name and email field like name_value=”Anonymous” and email_value=”[email protected]”.

    Hi Laurel,

I’m not sure how well this would work with Zendesk, since each user requires a name and email. Do you currently receive anonymous messages via Zendesk?

In a normal process, each ticket is sent from a “requester”. The ticket is assigned to their email address, so if someone opens a new ticket with the same email it will go to the same user’s account.

We might be able to add this as an option. However we’ll need to gather a bit more information about how this might work in Zendesk first.

    Hi Phil,

I’m working on the same project as Laurel. The client has simply decided to use “Anonymous” and “[email protected]” as a stand-in for anonymous form submissions. We’re using the plugin’s default-value syntax to autofill these values in, so you can close this issue as resolved. Thanks again for your help!
