Hello @fixasb,
Greetings for the day!
From the screenshot you shared, I can see that only one attribute is selected by default from the product settings. However, in the other screenshot, I noticed that different variations are selected on front end—have you selected those manually?
Also, can you please temporarily disable the Variation Swatches plugin and check if the default values are selected correctly? I tested this on my end, and the default values are being selected fine. Let me know what you find, and I’d be happy to assist further! 😊

Hello @aamiribsf,
Thanks for your reply; I think I may have understood the cause of the problem: as soon as i deactivated the extension “woocommerce force default variant” (which is probably more for single products rather than variations), the default values on the variations tab also showed on the front end! So from my understadning I should only use the variation swatches extension if i have both single and variable products on my woocommerce.

Hello @fixasb,
Thanks for sharing your findings! Yes, the default value selection is a core WooCommerce functionality. You can check if the “WooCommerce Force Default Variant” plugin works correctly with the default dropdown selection when Variation Swatches is disabled.
However, using multiple plugins with similar functionalities can often lead to conflicts. It’s generally recommended to use only a single plugin to manage variations to avoid such issues.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
Best regards,
