default-widgets.php changes as child

    Hello and excuse my ignorance but I did changes to file default-widgets.php but when updated I had to rechange the file. How can I make it as a “child” to the theme I use or another way so I don’t lose the changes after updating WP version? I understand it’s a core file

    To be more specific what I changed is comment out the code for the login widget so I remove the RSS links.
