Default WordPress themes support

Hi everyone,

I am wondering how long are the default WordPress themes maintained?

I built a site with Twenty-Twenty Three theme about a year ago, then two months ago, after upgrading WordPress to a newer version, I started having some theme related problems. I created a new topic in Fixing WordPress forum, however they directed me to theme support forum. After almost two months there has been no response in the theme support forum.

So the thing is, I like the default WordPress themes, they are simple and provide mi with everything I need (especially the new block themes), but if they are maintained for just a year or two is it a good idea to actually use them?

If not, can you recommend another better opensource block theme with better long term support?
