Okay – thank you for your answer. Unfortunately it still does not work – the tab is still displayed… Do you have another idea?
Which tab do you mean in detail? A menu item, or the profile access in the admin bar? Thanks for clarify.

The “Profile” tab in the sidebar/menu of the backend. (Pic) – thanks for your help.
OK. Now after debugging. WordPress change the profile.php for roles smaller Admin to an Main Menu Item. As Administrator, there give the rights to generate the settings is it a Sub Menu.
You should all a custom option in the Menu Settings area, like:
Name (left box): Main Profile
Slug (right box): profile.php
After saving this, you get an new option in the Menu, active this for the roles, there should not have access to this page.
