    Can someone suggest some hacky way to delay WP form showup? I think I saw this requested somewhere and that there is no such functionality available. Ideally I would delay javascript execution with timeout, 10 seconds or so. Currently MC4WP kicks in right away, I’d like it to appear a few moments later so it would look more like a “promotional content” rather than “in your face, close me now”.

    Hey @simakas0,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    I regret to say we do not have such a feature. You can place it inside some section and then add JS/CSS code to display that section after few seconds.

    How to do that when you are not a developer?? Is there no chance that you will add this delay form display feature to the MC4WP plugin?

    Hey @simakas0,

    We do not have any plans to add this feature to the plugin. You can use CSS to add some transition. You can learn more about it at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30855985/pure-css-animation-visibility-with-delay.

    Hi, I don´t know if that´s exactly the inverse situation that I´m facing, in my blog this plugin takes ages to load and makes my site super slow. I´m going to deactivate it for a while until I could figure out how to stop slowing down my blog.

    This is my last GT Metrix report:

    /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/assets/js/forms.js?screx=1&sxcb=1a&ver=4.9.0

    START: 10.8s

    DURATION: 331ms (!) (nothing in my whole website never took more than 5s to load, even ads)

    Do you know if it´s a bug or some misconfiguration from my side?

    Thank you in advance!

    @estehelecho that sounds extreme indeed!
    I would like to see the issue on your website, maybe I can see what’s going on.

    Can you email us at support at mc4wp.com please?

    Kind regards,
