There is an almost 1 second delay before it is reflected on the order summary when switching payment options using Woocommerce checkout block page (not sure in classic).

If a customer quickly switches from a payment with a discount/fee to one without and manages to press the place order button (can easily done on mobile) they are still applied and vice versa if switched from without to with.

Would it be possible to disable the checkout/place order button for the same amount of time to prevent this from happening?

    Hi @candied ,

Thank you for reporting this — and for the detailed explanation.

I can see a small delay when switching payment methods, but on my test site it’s not slow enough for a customer to normally place an order before the totals update.

That said, we understand the concern, especially on mobile. We’ve shared this with our development team and we’ll look into whether we can temporarily disable the Place Order button while the totals are recalculating in the Checkout Block.
