Delete a Site

I am the Principal of a school where previous staff several years ago created a wordpress site at https://mvllc.wordpress.com/.

The staff that created the site have departed. We now have a new website at http://www.sturgeonlearning.ca.

Any thoughts on how to take down the old site without the login information?
