Delete Category

    I use the Kubrick theme and want to delete the uncategorized category. However, it won’t let me delete it becuase it is the default category.

    I went to Options>Writing and changed the default post category, however, this still dosen’t work.

    How do I go about changing the default category?

    rename it to another category and move all the posts to the newly renamed one. Then you get rid of it that way… thats how I had to do it.

    IE.. I had 2 categories – about and uncategorized. I wanted to get rid of uncategorized, but it wouldnt let me. I moved all of the about posts to uncategorized, deteled the empty about and renmaed uncategorized to about.

    Ok, was the path I thought of but I end up at the same place nonetheless.
