“Delete local backup” Not working

    I configured to backup to google drive, and explicitly disabled local backups (due to disk quota limitations on hosting server). But i see that, UpdraftPlus making a local backup to local server (like backup_2026-02-17-0945_xxx_a937e8e53106-uploads5.zip).

    Settings\Delete local backup: is checked.

    Any idea to solve problem?

    Hi,

    Even when “Delete local backup” is enabled, UpdraftPlus must first create the backup locally before uploading it to Google Drive. Once the upload completes successfully, the local copy should then be deleted automatically.

    But, they are not deleting automatically. I have to delete them manually. Any idea for solution?

    Hi,

    Could you please share the full backup log so we can review it? Since file uploads may not be possible here, you can paste the log into an online tool such as Pastebin (https://pastebin.com) and send us the link.

    Solved problem. Google storage was near quota limit. Cleaned it and now seems working. Thank you.
