I recently upgraded to the pro version. Today, I see there is an update to the regular version, but not to the pro version. I would have expected updates to both. Are the fixes being applied to the regular version not needed in the pro version?

When I installed the pro version, I disabled the regular one and then installed and activated the pro version. Should I now delete the deactivated regular version, or will that delete some data needed for the pro version?

    Hello,

Feel free to delete the deactivated free version and all your settings are saved in the pro version. The pro version has been updated as well. If your plugin is registered, you should simply click on the ‘check now for updates’ in the plugin menu, under Collapse Pro Matic.

However, once the plugin does update to version 1.2.1 (or greater), you will need to re-register the plugin using your new license key which you can obtain from a link in the plugin options page. You will need to register and activate your license to continue to receive plugin updates.

Please let us know if you are able to successfully update the plugin, or if we can be of any further assistance.

Well, there is no “check now for updates” or even a “plugin menu” that I can find. I assume you are talking about the Plugins page in the WP dashboard, right?

I can find my license key, but I have no idea where to go to “re-register” it.

Sorry, but I’m going to need more detailed guidance.

One thing you might try is to log in to your account and download the latest version. Once this is installed, you can register the plugin under Dashboard > Settings > Collapse-Pro-Matic

Please let us know how it goes.

    I managed to install 1.2.1 and re-register.

I still don’t see a “check now for updates” button anywhere.

version 1.2.1 and greater no longer have a check now for updates button. Updates will be pushed out per the normal WordPress update schedule. If you want to check if there is currently an update, simply view Dashboard > Updates to check now.

Glad you got everything updated. Issue marked as resolved.
