Hi, you’ll need to get the attention of a moderator.
Send an Email to the Forum Support Team
- If you don’t receive a response through the report option or from moderators, you can email the ww.wp.xz.cn forum support team directly at [email protected].
- In your email, include:
- The URL of the post.
- Your username.
- A clear explanation of why the post needs to be removed or edited.
Please do not email moderators; use the “report topic” button to the right, on the topic in question. I see the password has now been removed.
I’m sure you know this, but please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/guidelines#the-bad-stuff
It is not OK to offer, enter, or send site credentials on these forums. Thanks for your cooperation.
Thanks! I wasn‘t sure where to place this request. But can you please also delete the URL? Or if not then replace it with a short url link? The forum post shows up in search engines related to my webshop and I don‘t want that. I usually use short URLs but missed it here. I‘m anyway wondering why I can‘t edit my own post anymore?
Thanks in advance.
I’m sorry but no. Unless it is an extreme case, posts and replies are not edited here.
Forum topics will only be edited or deleted if they represent a valid legal, security, or safety concern. The URL of a public website is not security issue, nor is SEO.
See https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#will-you-delete-my-post-once-the-problem-is-solved and https://ww.wp.xz.cn/about/privacy/
We do not delete posts except under extreme situations. Leaving posts up will be helpful to the next person who has a similar issue: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#will-you-delete-my-post-once-the-problem-is-solved
And, unless it’s a legal or security issue, we do not remove links: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#my-post-shows-up-on-a-search-for-my-domain-will-you-delete-my-post-or-my-my-link-within-my-post
I have moved URL to the proper field, where it should have been originally, so only logged in users can see it and it is not possible for search engines to scrape it.
Please be mindful of what you post on public forums going forward.
