Delete uploads-webpc folder

    Can I delete uploads-webpc folder in wordpress?

    I’m out of space on the server and I saw that it creates the same directories and files in the UPLOAD folder.

    Thanks for your message.

    This cannot be done. This directory contains images converted to WebP. They are used by the plugin.

    I have verified that there are .webp files in the UPLOAD folder.

    I don’t understand what is the need to have this other folder (uploads-webpc)?

    @metapml The files generated by the plugin are saved in the /wp-content/uploads-webp/uploads folder. I don’t know what WebP files you have in /wp-content/uploads, but they are not the WebP files generated by this plugin.
