Deleted Posts still appearing?

    Please help me,
    I have just taken over from someone elses WP site editing.
    I am supposed to remove two images from the side of the site that appear no matter where on the site you go. I figured out that they were two uncategorized posts, and so in the Posts section I deleted them, and then deleted them permanently from the trash.

    But they are still appearing on every page?

    I deleted the images from the media library as well…. no luck!!!

    any advice? please help!!!!

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
