    Hi Ali,

What’s the most thorough way to be sure EVERYTHING is deleted when I delete a user’s submission form that I don’t want anymore? I’ve added a few test form submissions lately and they make a large difference to the size of the site. Even when I trash them permanently, the site is still MUCH larger. I tried manually removing media files that correctly got put into my media library, and deleting the post that got made, but the website size grows by alot for each submission received, even when I think they’re deleted and trash cleared. I’ve also tried deleting the form from the Megaforms menu. Both ways seem to report the site size is still much bigger than before the submission. How would you suggest I do it the best way?

    Thank you, Stu

    Hey @stumur ,

We fixed this issue in v1.6.2, it now properly deletes all files when you remove entries/forms.

For existing files, you’ll need to manually delete them from: wp-content/uploads/mega-forms/private/

Each form has folders like {form-id}-{hash}/ – just delete the folders for the forms you removed.

After this one-time cleanup, the new version handles everything automatically.

    Thanks
    Ali

One thing – the post submission form option for Post Status has 4 options, but the only one that saves with the form is “Pending Review”.. the other 3 don’t seem to save when selected and form saved..

I’ll mark this as solved, since the deletion issue is fixed.
