You may find my post in this topic usefull.
However for the described solution to work you’ll need the 6.9.2 release. So you will probably need to fix the 500 internal server error first. You need to fix that issue anyway in order to keep the iTSec plugin updated…
Check the web server error_log for any clues.
You were right… I did it… server just need a little time for dumping logs…
If it helps, I wrote a small plugin specifically for deleting iTheme logs. No warranty or responsibility, but it works: https://github.com/mikeott/log-cleaner-ithemes-security
No need to go empty these greedy tables manually! @mikeyott You made my day! Thank you very much, and for the others, this little tool works wonderfully.
I used @nlpro ‘s solution and it worked for me..!!!

Always Backup and then use Mike’s Log Cleaner for iTSec. SUE-WEET
Another happy boi!
Awesome work Mike O.
@kkaoss – glad I could help!
@mikeyott,
Another thanks from yours truly. Your plugin works like a charm. Too bad iThemes (Standard and Pro) no longer have the clear logs button.
All,

Cheers!
Update: I’ve added this plugin to the official WordPress repo now:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/log-cleaner-for-ithemes-security
Best to use that version going forward as it’ll be kept up tp date.
@mikeyott,
Awesome. Official plugin installed.
Suggestions for future plugin revisions: (in no particular order)
(1) Show affected database table size before (and after) log is cleared.
(2) Add a WP database table optimization button.
(3) Add a WP database table repair button.
(4) Add a button to completely disable the log function.
Again, thank you.
Cheers!
