Deleting members from WordPress dashboard

Each time a person signs up to my Patreon and then logs in to my site, it creates them as a user in the backend of WordPress.

What would happen if I manually deleted that user from WordPress? I assume if they tried to log back in again it would just re-create their profile again, synced from their Patreon account without any issue?

I’m considering deleting loads of old members who have since left my Patreon, but I just want to check it won’t impact anything else on the site. They’ve not left comments or been able to do anything else on the site other than log in to access Patreon-locked content.
