Deleting (missing) backups on FTP-server

    Hey,

    just noticed after manually deleting much older backups on our backup ftp-server (these somehow weren’t deleted automatically) that trying to delete the entries in the plugin UI yields errors which prevents me from removing those entries.

    PHP Warning:  ftp_delete(): /ftp-folder/2025-07-13_03-15-02_EWLG5ILN02.zip: No such file or directory in /htdocs/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-destination-ftp-type-ftp.php on line 396

    So yeah, I should’ve deleted those older backups via your plugin in the first place but now cannot get rid of those items unfortunately.

    Thank you for your message.

    I wanted to let you know that we are already aware of this behavior in the Backups History table. Our developers are aware of the issue, and it will be addressed in a future update to ensure that the UI and storage are properly synced when saved backups are deleted from either side.

    At the moment, I don’t have a specific ETA for the fix, but your report helps reinforce the priority.
