    Hello,

I’ve been struggling to find an answer to my question online so I decided to post here.

I am using The Events Calendar on a client’s website and it works well. However, I do have one issue where I want to use event categories but I do not need the pages generated when adding a category.

For example, if I create a category named “Other”, the plugin will automatically create a page at https://site.com/events/category/other.

Since I do not need those pages + they bloat up the website and mess up with the SEO, is there a way to remove them or prevent the plugin from creating the pages?

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    David

Hi @davlab, out of the box we do not have this feature, in regard to removing or disabling the events category page. By default creating the category would also create the page. However, I encourage and recommend you to add it as a feature request in this link: https://evnt.is/ideas, this would help us track users needing this feature.

Nevertheless, I am unable to provide you with an exact date for when this feature will be available or if it is possible. As our development team considers certain factors before implementing one like if a feature request has enough votes.
