Deleting Redirection Plugin Breaks Website
-
Hello. I use to use the Redirection Plugin for all of my website’s redirections (about 2900 total). In order to cut down on the number of plugins I use, and since I was already using Rank Math Plugin for SEO, I decided to also use Rank Math for my redirections. So I exported all of my redirections from the Redirection Plugin, enabled the Rank Math Redirection Module, imported my redirections to Rank Math, and deactivated the Redirection Plugin. All seemed well. But then when I deleted the Redirection Plugin, I lost my entire website. So I restored a backup and my website is back. So currently I have the Redirection Plugin deactivated but I can’t delete it or I lose my website. Do you have any idea why this is happening? What should I do? Please advise. Thank you.
