Deleting Slides

    In the past when I deleted images from my site it would be removed from meta slider. Now I get an error in metaslider that the image is missing. Is there to go back to the old functions? Now I need to remove the image from metaslider AND remove the media from WP.

    Meta Slider Pro Version 2.6.8
    Meta Slider Version 3.5

    It is also allowing me to add the same image/slide multiple times, which was also not possible in my older version

    Hi Jhartmann,

    The ability to add the same image to the same slideshow multiple times was a feature that users have been requesting for many years, and that is what we added the ability to do in 3.5. The change which allowed this to happen also means that deleting the image from your media library will not remove the slide from the slideshow. So now you will just need to delete the slide from the slideshow itself. If you want to remove it from the media library too then you will need to do that separately.

    Is there a way for this functionality to be switched off, or alternatively, is there a way to rollback to version 3.4 on our site?

    Hi jhartmann,

    In the development version of Meta Slider I have changed it so when a media file is deleted from the media library, it’s also removed from the slider.

    Please can you install the WP Rollback plugin, and use it to roll Meta Slider forward to version 3.5.1?

    3.5.1 restores the previous functionality where deleting from the media library removes the slide from the slider.
