Deleting static files

I see this issue has been marked as Resolved:

Does that mean that Simply Static should now be able to delete static files of posts removed from the dynamic site?

This doesn’t seem to be happening, so I’m thinking the issue isn’t actually resolved. If not, is it still a planned fix?
