Deleting Submissions from Database

    Hi, @nimblechapps,

    I know you told me once before, you’re working on the ability to delete contact submission, but I had to go live with the website and I did a lot of tests that I could not show the client. So I went into the database and manually removed all the saved submissions.

    And that worked, but now when I go to choose the form to view the submission for, I see duplicates of some of the forms with no submissions in there. Is there something else I need to remove from the database?

    Sorry. I know this was not the conventional way of removing the submissions saved, but I was in a time crunch.

    Not sure, how you deleted it.

    Hello @nimblechapps,

    Is there any chance of having a delete feature within the next few days? This would be so helpful for us. We might need to find a different plugin if we can’t delete entries soon. Excellent job with the plugin. Much better than Contact Form DB. Thank you!

    Hello @gbartos,

    We are working on Remove feature and so many other features, but those are not yet complete and we are not fully satisfied with those yet to publish, even as beta.

    It may take another One and half month to get it fully published.

    Thanks! My skype is out of commission at the moment, but basically, I deleted the submissions from the tables labeled SaveContactForm7_x (few different tables with different number for x). But even though the submissions were no longer showing in the back-end, the form names were there in the dropdown.

    I figured it out though. In the database, SaveContactForm7_lookup table, There was leftover info there. Once I deleted what was in there and those empty tables I’m back to having a clean back-end.
