Delivery fee calculation failure

    Hi,
    I have an issue at Checkout: if the consumer chooses delivery to a different shipping address, the automatic zip based delivery fee calculation does not refresh, but sticks with the fee based on the zip given in billing fileds. If you click to choose a nother delivery option, the refreshing occurs, but that is way not obvious for a user (if you change zip in billing fileds, the fee recalculates automatically, and this should also do so,,if you change zip data in shipping fileds).
    Delivery fee calculation is set up with the default woocommerce option/function, no 3rd party plugin used.
    Any ideas, what could be the reason?

    Hi @nobeee3 –

    Thanks for reaching out. If you navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping (tab) > Shipping Options (link), can you let us know what you have ticked for “shipping destination”?

    Also, can you provide us with a couple of sample zip codes we can test to see this in action?

    Last, but not least, would you mind copying and pasting your System Status Report into this thread so that we can check for any red flags there? You can find this by going to WooCommerce > Status > System Status > Get System Report in your WP-Admin dashboard.

    thank you for you reply, please find my answers below:
    1 “shipping destination”: set to Default to billing address (2nd otption). We tried to set it to “Default to shipping address” (1st option), but that caused confusion, because so on the checkout page the “shipping to different address” checkbox was checked in default, but users mostly still filled in only the billing fields, and so no delivery option appeared (since shipping zip was left empty)

    Hey N,

    Thank you for sharing that! I’ve tested the above and I wasn’t able to see the shipping fees updating.

    I encourage you to run a plugin/theme conflict test to avoid this being caused by something else:

    Next, if this keeps happening, please share a few screenshots of the shipping configuration.
