    Hi There,

I am new to elementor and I have elementor pro.
I create sites for people and in the past I have just given them the whole site to put on their own hosting but what do I do now that I have a purchased version of Elementor Pro. I can’t just give them the whole site as they will have my Elementor Pro in there.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Best Regards,

    Steve.

  • Hi Steve,

It seems you are missing out on a lot of revenue from your work.
Informe your clients about the dangers of being hacked and if sites are not updated and maintained regulary. Present them a maintenance contract, where you include the time you will spend every month to update ( and fix issues that sooner or later happen with updates ) and include the price you pay for elementor PRO or other licenses that are used in their websites.

If they do not want to pay, you can just leave elementor pro, but not enter you license key. If they want updates, they will have to buy the liccense them selves.

    Hi Annie,

    Thanks for the reply.
So are you saying that I can just remove my license key and the site will continue working?

    Best Regards,

    Steve.

    Hi Steve,

Absolutely! It will no longer get updates, but will continue to work.
The risk of getting incompatible at some point is present, if WordPress core and or other free plugins will get updates. But that is why a client should update or hire you to do updates regulary..

By the way, when you log into your account https://my.elementor.com/ you can view all websites where youre license is active and even revoke it if needed without the need of actual access to that website.

I have the unlimmeted license of Elementor Pro, if you only have a license for one site, you should only see the one you entered the license in -:)
