    I am currently building a large multisite at http://www.greenbookpages.com, my next step is to include a video tube site that is connected to my multisite but the things is I would like to have the video tube site connect to a different database than the rest of the multisite websites are linked to.

    I want a whole new database for a website on my multisite, is this possible?

    Bear in mind, you can have thousands of blogs in a single database install.

    Is the bulk of the video content held in the database or just on the server somewhere?

    Elsewhere 🙂 It’ll be held on your fileserver under /wp-content/blogs.dir/<blog number>/files/YYYY/MM/file.mov 🙂
