    It doesn’t seem to be causing any issues but Wordfence is showing this message in its scan results

    The site is fully up to date. WP Mail SMTP version 4.4.0. PHP version 8.3.

    Is there an update planned to rectify this?

    Hi @wilkinsone ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I checked in with our developers and it looks like this is an issue they are aware of. However, it’s not an issue we’re able to resolve as it is coming from a vendor library. Basically, the vendor has to update the library to address this.

    That said, the error is a deprecation notice and won’t cause any issues like you said.
